Opponent Shaping in LLM Agents

This paper extends opponent shaping to LLM-based agents. We investigate whether LLMs can influence co-players’ learning dynamics in game-theoretic settings, steering them toward exploitable outcomes in competitive games or improved cooperation in cooperative ones.

Introduction to Machine Learning
